HAMISH CLELAND
Master of Landscape Architecture
Hamish recently finished his master’s degree in landscape architecture at Victoria University of Wellington, New Zealand where he received the top mark for his thesis on natural regeneration of open cast mines. He is a multi-faceted creative, and has freelanced with a variety of landscape architecture practices in both New Zealand and the UK during his studies. He is interested in art, monumental architecture, and the natural world. His masters thesis explores the reclamation of wasteland landscapes through the lens of fictional narrative. He mixes his passions for classical oil painting, drawing and creative writing into his designs.
Hamish has recently made the move to London from New Zealand and is getting to know the country. In his spare time he enjoys weight training, painting and collecting ancient coins and trading cards.
